Hey guys,
I'm looking into building a kicker for the summer but haven't been able to find good plans after searching. All the old threads on this site are missing the pictures, and the step by step process on the hompage is missing pictures as well. I was just wondering if anyone could hook me up with some plans with pics, or maybe just some detailed plans.
Thanks for any help |

This is how you want to mount the plastic barrels for your base.
You'll want to cut your own fill hole in the side of the barrel's facing up so you can fill them and level the ramp out while its in the water.
Once you have all four together then you can start building your ramp. The ramp basically will just sit on top of these barrels. (but will
be screwed together of course.) Heres a picture to give you an idea of what your ramp could look like.
this is a very small ramp obviously. Your's will be much bigger. If you need plans for how to build a ramp there are plenty of them online
for skateboarding or anything it's all the same. Just dont make it too steep.
And dont sheet it with steel either lol you should use either vinyl or some kind of thin plastic. I'm sure someone on here can tell you what to use for a surface. |

Well it really all depends on how precicesly you build the ramp thats going to be put on top of your floating base. The ramp should cover over the barrels ( kinda like a hat). Not rest On top. This way the ramp will hopefully sit at the water line or just above it. If that is the case...Fill the barrels with some water to weight them down a bit so your ramp just breaks below the water (Then plug those holes so that it doesn't sink. Toss in some anchors and voila...a floating ramp |

I dont think I mentioned this, but, you will want to use 4 barrels so that it's as stable as possible. |

make your wood frame just like this, and the weight of everything will hold it together, tie ropes from the wood, around the under belly of each barrel to keep them in place. Those corner peices are crucial so the barrel doesnt pop out the top, they will be bearing most of the weight as well. Follow that picture exactly |

here is a pic of mine, used trex so kinda top heavy. only needed 3 barrels. would have been better if i made it wider. but I use it for kiteboarding.
