In the screen shot shown, how do I edit the red and blue line labels in the legend on the charts? I'd like them to say something other than "series 1" and "series 2".

Right click on chart, choose "source Data". Go to series tab and you can change the series names to whatever you want.

Not open in front of me but if I remember right though you right click, then choose the format series option or something like that, and then in the area where you can select data, you can also change the series name...

Right click in the chart, Source Data. Series tab. Then you can highlight the "Series 1" and change the name of it in the "Name" box.

Wow.....it's a lot harder to explain when typing it.

It's right click in chart>select data...>highlight series name>edit.

Next Question: How do I label the axis and put a title at the top of the chart?

Click the chart, then 3 tabs come up next to 'view', pick the one that says layout, then format axis.
