new boat questions

we are looking into a new boat and i was wondering if the mmid to late 80's nautique 2001's wake was any good or not. Any pictures would be helpful. Also I found a good deal on a 99' air nautique fully loaded. How is the wake behind those boats as well. Thanks!

I can't comment on the Air Nautique, except to say that if you like the boat & feel like its a good deal have them give you a test ride to see how you like the wake. (I wouldn't buy from someone who won't.) Correct Craft makes a great boat - the fit & finish on them is as good as anything in the industry (some say that it is second to none). I've heard great things about those older Nautique 2001s. You definitely need some ballast to build up the wake, but they're great boats & most people that I've talked with that have boarded behind one have good things to say about them. Post some pics of what you end up with.

I like the wake on mine, I run about 1200 lbs + people and the wake is good. It's nothing like any of the newer wakeboard specific boats, but it's paid for, and never breaks down. I'll try to post pics after i ride tomorrow.
