Last day of school-Pics and write up

On friday, me and some friends headed to the lake, to do some wakeboarding and get out for the first time of the year. So here's some pictures/story.

First off, i packed my car thursday night so we could leave straight from school since it was a half day for exams.

Then, once we got out of school, i picked up a 2 friends, and we all followed the other car to my friend's lakehouse. Got there to a cloudy and 60 degree start to summer. Not too nice, but we made do, and just took a bunch of jackets and towels out on the boat. First time i've had to use a wet suit to ride past mid april.

Some people tend to look like a balloon while in a wetsuit. But she did get up on her first try.

So it was yet another girls time. She was having fun with it, and showed her emotions

But she conquered the beast, and got up.

And the morale of the boat was still good

Even with creeper smiles

Next up was our host. Started off his first run of the year with the grab he learned the last run last year. Stuck the landing. First thing I said when he got in the boat..."Dude! It's gotta be the RONIX"

Next up was girl number 3. she wakeboards a little. But needed some jump work... she landed a few

Now that everyone rode, or at least tried to. It was cliff time. We went to the cliffs to jump off

After we got done cliff jumping, we noticed the glass. I savored the opportunity to go strapless.

Afterwards, we went back to warm up, and tourist tyson got ready to go watch the sunset

There were good vibes with some guitar, and the girls enjoyed watching the sunset

Now for day 2
Some of us got up, some were up all night. But either way, we checked the weather, and saw that the high was 78, which was great weather. So we went to our cove and i started the day out.


Notice that strappers and wakeskaters can get along... There's too much hate between the two, we need to stick together as one.

And then it was Ben's turn. He couldn't jump last year. He'd maybe land 1 out of 10 jumps. First run this year he landed all but 1 jump. He's also getting over halfway across the wake.

Next up, was tyson. He was bound to get up today after failing the day before, but first, he needed to lose some water weight

He got up.

Next up, The blondie. Throwin signs up and staying up even going through rollers. Second time wakeboarding. Ever.


And the other girl, who had previously wakeboarded worked on jumps today some more.

Sorry it wasn't too entertaining, i'm exhausted and trying to get to bed.

Thanks for sharing! Looks like tons of fun and makes me remember the good old days. It's kind of funny how the fun changes when you get a lot better. The first year or two of wakeboarding were better in a way, sort of like we were all experiencing something great for the first time.

"The other girl" gets my vote.

I had to laugh at this pic though, whats wrong with this guy... he looks like he's had one to many tins of crazy juice and is about to mutiny the boat.

There are other ways to have fun. And i wouldn't post it even if we did it. No need to brag..

Yeah, it was a lot of fun. But i'll tell ya what, My body is sore all over from it now. I need to get these muscles i never use back in shape.

He's a goofball. One of the funniest people i know. It was probably some face he was making. I forget what he was playing at the time.
