ShAkAjAcK,
I think he'd deserve one more if he hadn't gotten those injuries.. Wink Normally if you land stuff correctly, these things don't happen.

Im a big Collin Harrington fan, but I dont know how a pro model would work for him. Hes not very mainstream/well known...isnt gonna get LF advertising by getting podiums at major contests, and hes been injured a lot. I like the dude a lot, but I dont think hes a great candidate for a fully legit pro model. However since hes a big rail rider anyways, I think he would be a good choice for his own flex board or rail board pro model like the Press with Ennen and Shane. That makes more sense to me.

As a professional, I think Collin deserves one over plenty of riders that do have them.

Contest finishes are not the only thing that matters and a lot of people are beginning to forget that. Does anyone remember why wakeboarding broke off from skiing at all? It's FUN, not just another thing to win at...

Collin is putting a lot of creative energy back into wakeboarding with his freeriding, video parts, and now his video Box of Fun too, so forget about PWT for a second and watch the way this dude rides his board, I think you'll like it.

Nick Taylor, I totally agree. I wasnt trying to say that at all. Its just that from LFs marketing standpoint, Harrington isnt going to bring in the $ because he doesnt get the podium finishes where he gets a trillion pictures with his pro model and a gold medal. Maybe Im wrong (if so correct me), you probably know a lot more than I do at how the whole process works, but from LFs POV I can see why he hasnt gotten one already.

He was a nice guy when we met him. He put on a demo at Carlsbad's freezride earlier this year. He was wearing his knee brace despite being off the injured list. But very professional attitude and modest guy. I see him in a lot more boarshort ads now so he must be picking up popularity. Maybe a pro model will be in his future.

about him being well known i kind of agree but he has had injuries and recovered from them. if anyone has read the new alliance out there is a huge article on him and he talks about how LF was thinking of giving him a model but then he got injured. now that he's back, he's be doing better than ever.

ShAkAjAcK, yea I saw that. He definitely is getting more exposure. If he continues to do so and stays healthy, its possible for sure.

the guys saying he doesnt get enough exposure are the guys that only read WBM which is almost all contests. If you pick up an alliance or standerd Colin is all over it. He even had a cover shot on the standerd. He gets plenty of exposure.

I think he deserves a pro model as well, but LF has so many pro models right now its crazy. There is no need to have a million pro models. In my opinion is should definitely be next in line if he stays healthy.

Very true. I crashed at Collin's house for a few weeks last season and he really is a cool guy who's always travelling and going out there doing a lot for the sport. Can't wait to see Box of Fun.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Collin gets a pro board soon. Just from speculation, but I'd bet he's gonna be one of LF's marquee riders soon
