Yeah i recently got some new hinge bindings from CWB. The "Seven's" to be exact. Its still too cold here in illinois to use them but i was wondering if the hinge bindings release alot easier than most other boots? Since hitting the water hard might release the back latch would that cause a lot more releases from my feet from the bindings?

first off it hasn't been too cold to ride for quite a while.

...but no crashes shouldn't release the hinge very often. I have only had a couple crashes that they have popped open on. As long as you have them sized right they should hold you in better than most bindings.

we put in at Lone Point and ride across the lake from point 2. If it's rough then we ride up by Wolf Creek. We are always at the south end of the lake though.

anytime. btw that was my parents boat and i got it when i turned 18. All last summer they told me i couldnt get a tower. I finally saved up enough bought it. Put it on behind their backs... and their reaction was "it does make the boat look pretty cool" haha. Parental satisfaction is second to none.

I have them too, watch out for the metal braided cable on the hinge. I ride in salt water a lot, and it starts to rust and fray, have had that metal stuck in my hands tons of times. Good thing is CWB has excellent customer service, I just emailed them and they are sending me a new set of cables and new fins since I lost my originals!

yeah i guess if one stays in and the other comes out there will be some twisting involved. But w/ my first board both feet came out alot cause i was new and catching edge alot and face planting lol. That doesnt happen much anymore.
