CONGRATS! One of my coworkers picked one of those up a few months ago. I liked my '02 when I had it, but the '07's are a huge step above. |

tgaugh, I've seen that a lot lately. "You can win this car ... well not really". I guess use of a new car for three years isn't all bad, but my understanding is that you still have to pay tax on the value of the lease, so it isn't totally free either. A lot of these contests have a cash option ... I guess that's what I'd want. |

well, it was from my dads works, so they are paying EVERYTHING. they are even paying my families car insurance for the duration of the lease, and my bros 16 so thats a lot of money we are saving, and we got the money from the car that we traded. |

I'll be getting rid of my '04 Yukon next year and was planning on just getting an '08 Yukon but the new Avalanche has definitely caught my eye.

Yep. If I was in the market for a more heavy duty ride, the GMC Sierra 2500 would be at the top of the list. Fact is, I just don't need that much truck.
I've been very happy with my Yukon in terms of comfort and utility. The Avalanche is probably very comparable. Of course, no decision will be made until I actually drive one (and drive the '08 Yukon too). |

I can't speak to the new ones, but the one that I had was almost identical to a suburban (with a box rather than the cargo area of course).
tpj, sounds more like he got a work vehicle than winning it then. Sounds like a good deal all around. |

I've been loving my '07 new body style. It's had a few warranty issues, but other than that it's been around since last September when I bought it new and I've got 30k on the clock now with a few weeks of downtime.
