well lets start out saying im no little boy by no means, im 6'2" and go about 322 lbs but the thing about it when i played football all my coachs thought that was a good weight but since im thinking about trying this wakeboard stuff i dont see alot of boys my size. im not the philsbary bough boy i do have some streight to me so i dont think that the getting up or holding on will be a problem but its the finding a board that comes close to my size. i dont think i will be doing any tricks but just riding and having fun plus my boy want to ride and hes like his dad, hes 6' and weights 220 at the ripe old age of 13 with o fat to him just a bull. so if anyone could help with info on some boards that might fit the bill it would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe a Big Liquid Force Fish? They are a nice wide board.

Other may have more suggestions

Check out this thread and look at the board finder link.

You are going to have to try putting in a weight that's less than what you weigh to get it to recommend boards. I think I had to put in 275 to get it to list out some boards. I would say go as big as you can. I noticed there are some 147's in the listings...you may want to go that big. You definitely want a lot of board to displace the water and get ya skimming up on top. Your son should be able to ride a bigger board too. I would start there.

Yep, just find the biggest board you can. We taught a buddy of mine (5'10" 285 lbs) to get up by planting his back foot in the water as hard as he could. That was the only method that got him up.
