Hi,
I have a 2006, seadoo Sportster. I was wondering if this boat would create a big enough wake to surf behind? I dont want to go out and spend money on a board if it wont work..
The boats 15ft with a supercharged 215hp 4-tec engine. It ways 1500lbs dry. It seats 4 people, so say 3 people in the boat total weight with everything 2200lbs. give or take.
Im not lokking to do anything crazy on the wakesurf, just somethin to do when the lakes to rough to wakeboard or wakeskate..
Thanks

Your probably not going to be able to get a large enough wake to surf without holding onto the rope.

Not possible. Those boats are light and don't have much freeboard. If you were to put enough weight in there to generate a surf wake it would probably sink the boat.

I haven't seen wakesurfing done with less than 1400 pounds.

You can wakesurf behind small boats! I surf behind my 1991 ski centurion falcon!
Never seen it done behind a jet boat though...
