| Hey so i can clear the wake pretty consistently and sometime get into the flats. I can get the distance but how do people get such good pop? I am trying to do the progressive edging but i want to know how to get higher? and what kinda beginner tricks should i try to move onto after going w2w and any tips on how to do those tricks? |

budzerella, I was the same as you. I could consistently clear the wake, but I wasn't getting much vertical height at all. Chad Lowe (coach at The Wakeboard Camp) had me slow my approach by about 1/3 and really focused on using what they call an "ollie edge" more than a "progressive edge". He explained that this approach is typically used for spins. It gives the rider more hang time and puts less tension on the rope. Its kind of hard to explain, but it worked for me. _________________ Hilton Head Wake Sports.com
