anyone know where to get the hack that gives us the bold username? trying to find it for another site i post on.

looked here, but i can't find it and don't really know what to look for.

jt, do you mean the bold username when viewing the forums/threads or when you click on the name and it does this:

If it's the first then it's just a styling issue (they just need to change their css) and not a hack. If it's the second, I don't know, I've never used phpbb before.

yeah - i want to be able to help reduce the quoting that goes on over there because it gets out of hand and is unnecassary. if i could figure out how to set it up like we do here when someone clicks a username and gets "Wakebrad, " i'd like to do that.

if anyone knows exactly what steps to take to make that happen, i'd appreciate the dropping of the knowledge!

I found some code that does it. I'd guess it was a kind of built in feature and not really a "hack" that you would add on.

If you give this to the admin they might know how to implement it.
