I'm mainly a wakeskater but do like to strap every now and then.
I went out this past weekend and started trying ollie 3s out in the flats behind my ski. I landed one perfectly the 5th try and nailed the majority the rest of the day.
I a comfortable doing w2w FS 1s(and landing out in flats) and even bs 1s.
I'm thinking of trying them the next time I ride behind a boat. Would you guys say I should be ready to attempt w2w 3s? |

It sounds like you are definitely ready. How quickly you will pick it up is a different story. When doing ollie 3s you don't have any line-tension. When you do them wake to wake you really have to wait until you're at the peak of your jump before you yank the handle. If you try to spin before that the line tension will prevent you from getting the handle around. It feels a lot different than the ollie 3, IMO.
If you have w2w fs and bs 180s down you should have the body control to get it quickly though. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

Well Im probably the oddball here but I land HS w2w 3s about 90+% of the time but I only land ollie 3s maybe 60% of the time. W2w is easier for me. I feel like its easier to get the handle. Maybe Im just weird |

tie an old rope to a tree and jump on the tramp at your neighbors, grandmas friends w/e and practice handle passes while in the air. _________________ Lake Shelbyville, IL |
