at the end of last season, I purchased an 02' Balance because people I had talked to about it had realy talked it up to me. When I got it, my 01' highbacks didn't seem to want to line up very well with the holes drilled in the board. Also, I had to rig it up with some plastic to act as washers because the scews made for hyperlite boots are designed to go all the way through the board, and I guess LF boards are made to only screw so far down in, and then they stop.
I want to get some 03' parks for the new season, but I dont wanna spend that kind of money if the hyperlite boot isnt going to work well with my LF board. I was wondering if anyone could help me out, or maybe explain how the hyperlite "claw" system might function with an LF board. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks, _________________ http://www.wakepics.com/view_single.php?medid=16993 one of few trips i got to make to the lake this year |

| My buddy had the same problem and just cut the screws shorter. Worked great! |

| ok if your gonna go from a hyperlite claw to a liquid force board you will need either a shorter screw or more washers. you dont need to contact hl or lf or visit their webistes. just go to a hardware store and get a slightly shorter screw and it will work (or get one more washer for each screw but the shorter screw works better). this is ALL you have to do. |

ok thanks. One more q, Im still not 100% clear on what exactly the "claw" system does. How is it different from your regular screw in bindings? _________________ http://www.wakepics.com/view_single.php?medid=16993 one of few trips i got to make to the lake this year |
