| probably a dumb question, but if you're riding at, say, 70', is this literally 70' feet behind the boat, or 70' from the tow point? Thanks. |

It's from the tow point. So if the line says 70' on it, then you're riding 70' behind the tow point. Also remember to add in the 5' for the length of the handle. Some ropes companies have the 5' added to the marked line length for confusion's sake, though. _________________ www.TheLiquidPlayground.com

| Scott a is right and you may just want to measure it yourself to be sure. I have just made that a habit when I buy a new rope as some companies add the handle length and some do not. |
