|
|
I've been trying OA spins on my buddies tramp, but can't seem to get it right. Everytime i start to go off-axis i just end up going inverted and doing a roll-to-revert. Does anyone have any advice??? I want to learn them on the tramp before doin them on the water so i can get the feel for doing the spin itself.- |

Learn an OA 180 (sort of like a batwing) first to get the feel of the rope... |

Just think about it buddy. Don't throw it so hard if you're getting inverted. Just spin and throw your legs out. Not too hard. |

Think of passing the handle under your butt, and pass it the same way you would on the water. You can fool around with them on a tramp but releasing them off the wake feels a lot different- its hard to simulate off axis spins on the tramp, same as backrolls, because your release and the angle you leave the wake is what sends you off-axis. If you are having trouble getting your legs up and around, think about making an arc in the sky like a rainbow.
If you want to take them to the water, read the trick tips on this site, it should help you a lot. |
