I have 2007 Moomba LSV with Wet sounds 3 some speakers on tower
Really great volume with great clarity.
What I would like is more base. From what I have heard the subs in the boat do not get the thump out to match the mids and highs of the 3 some on the tower.
Does anyone have any experience with bazooka tube inclosed subs mounted on the tower. If so how did you mount them.
If not any suggestions on how to get the base to match the other speakers without the base busting your ear durms in the boat. Ex. several 12" subs in the boat is not what I am looking for.
Thanks |

Don't mount subs on your tower, and if you want bass to keep up with those screamin wetsounds, i'd stay away from Bazooka altogether
Sounds like you just need it tuned, what subs do you have in there now? You can tweak the wetsounds pretty dang low on the Hz, they should sound pretty meaty by themselves, but the lower freqs are gonna probably need some good juice. I run 1 10'' sealed and it keeps up with my 2 pro 80s no problem, but it's tuned properly. Mess with the tuning before you blow cash.
*EDIT* It looks like you may actually be trying to get the bass out to the rider. If that's the case, fuhgeddaboudit. _________________ <insert witty banter here> |

You might want to move this post to the boat accesories thread. I know your new and all but you might take some flak for having this thread here.
But pretty much what tonality said. _________________
nessie is my homeboy so its all gravy
|

LF_WaKeR, very helpful
Wetsounds may not have the bass but its the best sound you can get out to a rider. on out last boat we had 1 good setup where it seemed like the bass was there out at the rider. but that was with a couple kicker cvr subs in the speaker cans which was a skylon setup and they discountinued it a couple years back. with the new boat the system has 10 speakers on the tower but its a different sound not as much bump but the sound is out there. all in all getting bass to the rider is really tough and possibly with the wetsounds pro485 or NVS you might be able to do it. but im happy with my liquid trends system and without the bimini up on the illusion tower they are much louder at the rider's end of the rope.
if you are just looking for more bass in the boat get a polk 12" with the proper amp and it will kick. we actually had to turn it down to -8 at some points just because it was hittin so hard. |

ArkMoomba,
Give me a call or send an email. I've got several nice Kicker sub box options you may be interested in.
