OK, I have 20 hours on my new moomba and decided to change the oil. I hooked a hose up to the water inlet and started the engine. I let it run for several minutes so the oil would drain more easily. I hooked a hose up to the easy drain hose and ran it out the drain hole to a pump. Why won't the oil come out? I haven't be able to get a single drop of oil out. It seems it should just flow on it's own since the hose comes straight out the bottom of the engine and out to the ground.

thanks for trying. apparently it doesn't work as advertised. I ended up sucking it out through the dipstick tube.

Sometimes you have to take the dip stick out or the oil cap off to get it started. You might want to let it run longer like 20 minutes. Hope this helps.

Yea, if there is no openning on top to relieve the suction in oil drain then oil will not drain. Think of a gas can. You gotta open that little valve to let air in when pouring gas.

They make a pump with fittings to connect to the quick drain. (very quick oil change.
