There are a few mistakes that I've made that I would try to prevent myself from making. I've learned from many mistakes but I'm sure there are a few that I could have done without.
I would like to see what life was like 10, 20, 30, 40, etc years ago. _________________

I'd go back and shoot the guy who shot my dad out of a tree in Korea so he wouldn't have broken every vertebrae in his back.
Then I hop in it and convince him not to allow the Veterans Hospital to take his Gal Bladder out. _________________ I hope the weather is calm as you sail up your heavenly stream |

I like how things have turned out and wouldn't really want to take a chance of screwing it up by going back and trying over again.....
But.....that said, I would like to have had my parents start giving Paul Allen and Bill Gates my allowance, tell them to use it as "start up" and just compensate me "if things worked out."
Because I was making a little money at the time, I would have then maybe given some start up cash to Larry Page and Sergey Brin...said, hey....let's see how this turns out.
In between then....I would have been investing all my capital in real estate in Jackson Hole, Park City and maybe bought a few places in SF and SD as well.... |

Are you serious?? We only had about half our naval fleet there. If we knew they were coming, we could have moved or spread out our entire fleet into the Pacific ocean and picked them off one by one before they even hit Pearl Harbor.
Anyhow, back to the original question. I'd probably play Powerball in every state available. Very interseting topic though. I've thought about this one before. Would you really want to go back and change the course of history? Interesting.... |

Nope, if one could travel and change things the consequences could be dire. While I'd love to make a boat load of cash or the like, I'd be afraid of the risks. Besides, everyday we get out of bed we have the chance to change history, we just decide we like the status quo.
I'd seriously like to go back an observe though, check out the dinosaurs, mastadons, and check in on some biblical events to see what really happened. _________________

I don't think I'd go back and change anything, I'd be too afraid of coming back to the present and having things completely different and all of the things I want to stay the same being screwed up. If consequences didn't exist though I'd for sure go make some killer bets and then invest the money in a couple companies and probably a lot of land. And of course I'd put myself in a position to become good friends with the guy who started Epic boats and maybe the CEOs of malibu and Mastercraft.
booby bunny, any particular reason? Just curious

God so much id' change... I think we all make mistakes and refine attitudes and ideals as we grow older. Part of growing up I guess.
I'd go back and not make the mistakes I made that ended my current relationship I guess...
booby bunny, Enlighten us? What makes you feel it'd be better and what would it have changed? You're older than me so always good to pick up some wisdom _________________ www.AxisBoats.co.uk | www.Malibu-Boats.co.uk |
