I may be moving up there from Atlanta in the next month or so, I'd love to find a crew to hook up with in the spring. |

No, it is not docked, I trailer it there. I've never been to Gary's house. I may have seen you, or at least the red 230, on one of my last rides there last season. I think we were the only two boats on the water. |

Same here, I'm in Lex as well. Any one willing to offer a pull or know of any nearby lakes that rent boats? |

I'd be willing to offer a pull for a lesson. Lol. Yamaha ar190 with a tower. Not an $80k Malibu but not a bad boat. I'm in Georgetown, been going to Herrington & Cumberland. Hmu |

I checked this out just to see if anyone actually rides on the Ohio but that water looks dangerous to get into. Is there anywhere closer to Louisville to ride than mentioned? _________________

I think from what I've heard, Taylorsville lake, Nolin lake, and Rough River lake are about as close as it gets if you aren't wanting to ride on the river. |

Taylorsville is not to far. I was just wondering if anyone actually gets in that river lol.
I'll probably be up that area in a few months so monitoring the situation. |

Yeah. I know several people that do ride it pretty regularly. They seem normal for the most part lol.
That being said, I also know several people that refuse to go within 10 feet of touching that water...so I guess its just personal preference. |

I think if you're stocked with antibiotics and just take them before and after the river submersion then you're fine...

I've been riding for a long time (I'm almost 30), but I'm no expert. This is my first true wakeboard boat so the learning has progressed a lot recently. Couple spins and a lot of grabs. Working up to inverts this year.
I'm at Wake Nation as much as I can get there, but I work long hours and usually hit the boat on the weekends. That place is a blast. I was just there this past Wednesday.
We ride the river a lot. Stay East of downtown and you're fine. Have to take into consideration water levels and current too. There are some spots that we ride where it is as clear as Cumberland or Norris. |

Awesome! Yeah, I'm a huge fan of wake nation and their operation. I'm 27 but have not been riding a long time, also no expert haha. Sounds like you are probably more skilled than me, I do have a lot of ski/snowboard experience tho so that has helped me to pick up stuff pretty quickly.
Hopefully I can't catch up with you sometime on the river or even at WN. |
