I've always skied/snowboarded with gloves in the past but are mittens warmer? I need a new pair and my hands are always cold, even with a warmer pack inside the liner. Recommendations? _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

Stop being a pvssy?
I think you just need some better gloves. Mittens are warmer, but I think if you do that you should go all out and get the "Kenny" outfit. _________________

I picked some gloves up at lunch today. I figured these Level Biomex would be good for falls with built in wrist guards. They were pretty comfortable and felt a lot better than my old gloves.

For those looking for new gloves, definitely check out the Celtek Clans. 20,000 waterproofing, super warm, pipe glove fit and style. My salomon rep used them all last season and said they're awesome. |

I just bought some Burton Baker gloves - I hope they do the trick - my gloves got damp last year from putting them on after having my hands in the snow - I couldn't loosen my bindings with my gloves on -
so I'm def. gonna bring a towel or some sort of wipe before I shove my wet hands back into my gloves..........
I'm headed back to AngelFire in 2 weeks - they just got a 32" dump - and more to come |

i rock grnade pipe gloves normally.. but always keep a set of mittens on hand for those cold days.
mittens are much warmer than gloves.
but i know in my case the main problem was the wetness. so i would normally switch glves after the dinner break |

kevoLFwake, there are no mountains in Dallas numnuts. I make it up to Colorado a few times a year to snowboard.
The new gloves are great. Fixed the problem.
