first set in 3 months

well, first real set behind a boat. I broke my ankle 3 months back, and have only been on the water 3 times since then, the other two i just wakeskated a few laps. This was my first time back on a wakeboard, behind a malibu vlx with about 2k lbs in it, so i was pretty nervous. But my first set, I went:
HS indy, TS stalefish, HS nuke, ollie BS180, melan half-cab, Indy Tantrum, Indy TS Backroll, HS backroll into the flats, Melan Scarecrow, HS melan FS 3, TS mute 3, HS BS 3, and fell on a switch HS BS 180. So I'm pretty stoked on not losing too much over the last 3 months. Just wish I'd had a video camera

shaggyboarder, weak. I'm still scared to walk on uneven ground. prolly gonna lay low on the wakeboarding so i dont screw it up again before my snowboard trip

LakeIolaLuke, yeah it took me me awhile to work out all the kinks. I dont know what part you broke, but I broke the main weight bearing part. I cant remember what its called but that dome on the inside of your ankle is what i broke off.

nice run! Where im at we get a 5 month vacation from wakeboarding and our first sets in march are embarrasing compared to that run

I could ride 4 sets a day for a year and my best set would be embarassing compared to that run.

Just be glad you don't have to go through winter, where you cannot ride for 5 months, and your boat is winterized. Think about it this way - you had time off and it makes you more excited to ride again.
