I know exactly what you are talking about. It is an oldie, but a goodie (8-10yrs).
I don't think it has a name, or needs one. It is just amazing that a decade later Parks still has tricks that are his alone.
My official answer: I have know idea what to call it. Only Parks is qualified to say. _________________ "Captain of Her Heart"

Yeah, and while you're over at wakeworld, be sure to read about how wearing socks is the next big thing. _________________ www.TheLiquidPlayground.com

| interesting. i havent seen it but i wouldnt call it a frontside s-bend. if it was a double half cab roll it would be obvious. since it sounds like he was spinning with two hands. i'll guess a two handed ole heel 9. sounds rediculous |

I think when ever wakeboard magazine reviewed "Six Pack" they called it a toeside double s-bend. I traded that video away more than a few years ago so my memory of the exact mechanics of the move is a bit foggy.
You can get Hype and six pack in a combo for $25. A great buy! |

| The way he gets into that move and his edge on it makes it more of a backside pete rose with no handle pass. It starts out pretty toeside backroll-ish, then he spins along with it, and it's a backside 360 olé style. |

Seriously and good God someone please make it stop.
I was watching the Collegiate Nationals and according to the color commentator Jeff Barton (who I respect, by the way) could not stop saying it. "WOW HAMMER! A HAMMER!". The tricks were not 'hammers' as we know them.
In 2017, we'll laugh at ourselves for calling hard tricks hammers. It does have a better ring to it though doesn't it? "WOW HARD TRICK. HARD TRICK!" |

Its switch heelside, he holds onto the handle with both hands, rolls over frontside twice with his body laid out horizontally, and lands toeside. 900 degree rotation, no handle pass, both hands on the handle until the landing. _________________

It sounds like a Double Hinterberger to Fakie, invented by the Parks Bonifay of cable riding Bernard Hinterberger. Here is a video of Diego Shaw, at 2:05 he does a Double Hinterberger. It is basically a Heelside Frontside Double S-bend. You will understand when you see it:

| LakeIolaLuke, I just watched that move in Six Pack 1 minute ago. It's toeside, not switch heelside. |

If its toeside, Parks used to do basically what would be a toeside whirly. The trick didnt have a name but it was a toeside backroll with a backside 3 rotated over head. _________________ Liquid Force

| just for clarification, is a switch toeside frontside 180 not also called a half cab? and a switch toeside backroll to revert would be called a half cab roll? just like the heelside variations |

| A switch heelside 180 is a half cab. A switch roll to revert is a half cab roll. A switch toeside backroll to revert is a switch toeside backroll to revert. |

Helf cab doesnt' even apply to wakeboarding, as a caballerial is a fakie 360 on a skateboard. Since skateboard tricks arent done on a heel or toeside, and you can't ride a wakeboard fakie, half cabs should really be called switch 180's altogether _________________
