| hi- im new to wakeboarding and boating for that matter. ive been snowboarding for many years and just bought a boat so i can start wakeboarding. im 5'8 185 lbs and just purchased a ronix frontier 142. hopefully this board will be a good board to learn on. as far as bindings, i wear a size 9.5 sneaker but when i snowboard i like to downsize my boots. do people do the same with they're wakeboard bindings? also any recommendations on a decent pair of bindings? i dont want a entry level pair, more of something that will last me a few seasons. ( im banking on my snowboarding to help me progress faster). thanks in advance for any help. |

I would reccomend getting the same size binding as your shoe size, although I guess it depends on if you like them really snug or loose. if you want to stick with ronix im sure all of the upper end bindings are pretty decent some other options are hyperlite and liquidforce bindings which both offer quality products too. _________________ Random Acts Of Dumbness Will Always Be Rewarded. |

i've found most bindings i've worn to be true to size - so buy the size closest to your shoe size. you don't want them too tight or it will affect how long you can ride comfortably. i wear a size 10 shoe & bought the hyperlite 3ds bindings size large - perfect fit. closed toe seem to make the bindings feel more snug on your feet too - at least with my experience. _________________ you have the right to remain silent, so shut the hell up! |

if you want to stick with ronix check out the ronix oxford binding its super comfortable and very good quality. And it is also a little inexpensive than their closed toe models _________________ T.J. |
