| I'm looking at a Bayliner 1750, 17' 1994. Is that too short? Also, are Bayliners any good? It's pretty cheap, but this is my first boat purchase so I kinda want a second opinion. Any suggestions? |

17 is a little short for my taste, i have a 21' and i like it pretty well.
i am not much of a bayliner fan but get what you can.
you should post your price range on here there is a lot of ppl with good suggestions for a boat in any price range. _________________

I would look beyond bayliner. They are the the Chevy Cavalier of boats - they'll get you where you are going - but not much for quality. SHop around
crowne line
Chapparal
both are pretty decent quality and not that expensive in comparison to some other manufacturers. |

Just from my experience i wouldn't get a bayliner. Some people get a good one others dont. You see a lot more older running chapparals. Crownlines are also good looking boats. I would atleast try to get a 18 or 19 foot also. _________________ www.NORTHSHOREBOARDSHOP.com

Chevy Cavalier, more like the Yugo of boats! If you're looking for a runabout, look for a Bluewater or a Seaswirl - same basic price range but much better quality of construction, also no wood. Bayliner still uses wood in their boats to this day. Crownlines are also good, but a little pricier. 17' is a little short, but you haven't told us what price range that we're talking about either. _________________ TheMalibuCrew.com |
