I really hope you're not doing that for some chick that's using her cervix as a punching bag.

Sorry - it's the parent in me. His constant, attention-grabbing antics are more than a bit troubling to me.
I'm confident that there are underlying issues that should be dealt with before something bad happens.
And the self-medication only makes it worse in the long run.

Dragonlady8, Tyler T, it's not for a girl. I've wanted it for a while.
Swass, I've been through my fair share of weird sht in my life, and I do believe I've turned out better that I could have expected. I appreciate the concern though. It's a bit more welcome than the " " I expected. This, however, is simply me wanting to show off my new tattoo.

Ctipping, Why a heart? Being older, I don't understand many tatoo's in general, but why a heart?
The fact that it is on your finger reminds me of this guy who had "ozzy" tattoed across his fingers in about the same position... One night, he got really trashed and passed out on our couch, so we found a green pen that matched his ink and "tatooed" an "F" on his thumb. He freaked when he woke up the next day - but that's what you get for passing out in someone elses house.
Being in NV, the heart might make sense here if you added a diamond, spade and club.

My ex gf etched stuff into her arm all the time. She only did it because she was bored at school but I still gave her stuff for it. You've got to be pretty comfortable with your sexuality man, or lack there of ( )

Most of us end up in a job that requires us to look professional...There is a good chance that later in life you will be sitting in meetings with people silently staring at your hand thinking you are a total and utter douche bag...Im not against getting tattooed but the location and choice of "art" will hurt your credibility for the REST of your life...Even the “ink” crowd will see your tat as completely gay and wonder what you were thinking…

One case where the tattoo industry needs to police themselves a bit...
Who would even want to tat that on to someone and claim it as their work?
DAM SON, what were you thinking.

i completly agree w/ tbonez. I have tats. No one at work knew i had tats until i mentioned it. They were all surprised. At some point, you will have to conform to society if you want to make a decent living. Course you could be one of the lucky ones and be an Emo rock star.

You knew what you were getting into when you posted the picture. You've been around here long enough to know what to expect.
The Internet is not the place to find validation for your decisions.

Swass, are you implying that I have a heart tattooed on my ring finger because I want people to notice me on a wakeboarding messageboard?

Sorry, I don't think anyones digging on you as such, they are just giving an honest opinion with less restraint as they are not face to face with you. it's much easier to be honest over the Internet.
Personally I don't like it but I'm not you... We make our own decisions but don't expect people to see your tat online and react the same way people you see face to face do.
