just not having the right weight distribution. when i ride switch I try to have 70% of my weight on my back foot and the rest on my front obviously. keep the rope close to your hip, at least thats more comfortable for me, I feel like I have more leverage.
Really tho, switch riding just takes time and practise to get comfortable with. Next time you go out, ride switch the whole time and just try to conquer your edges again, this time switch. Practise slowly going in and outside the wake, and the transition between edges. Hope that helps. |

Well ollie with a bit of cut and when you land you will be on your toesand have a bit of weight on them. How ever this might throw you off axis but it works 4 me _________________

The problem a lot of people have is that when the first try riding switch, they ride backwards... like if the had 70% weight on their back foot regular, they'd put 70% weight on their front foot switch. What you have to do is look at and think how you ride regular and try to mirror that switch. A video/still camera really helps for this because it lets you see your stance really clearly. |
