Ive been riding for this summer have gotten so I can clear the wake on my friends boat and do some grabs.

I am still having trouble riding switch. I can do the bs 180 easy but once i try to control my self its super awkward. I can toeside turn but I can backside turn 180 back to regular. Is there something I should be concentrating on while switch that could help?

Try taking your back hand off the handle to keep your body from twisting.. then work your way to riding with both hands once you get used to it. Switch riding is all practice.

Ride switch every chance you get....

If you get into a patch of rough water and are waiting for clear water ahead, go switch. If you have a terribly windy day and want to get out anyway, ride switch. Ride back to the dock at the end of your sets and ride switch. As ontrider said, 'it is all practice', every second you spend switch, it will get easier.

This will also extend your riding time. (It puts the primary force on the muscles on the other side of your body for a while)

1. The more you ride switch, the better you get at it.
2. The better you get at riding switch, the more fun it is.
