Making 2 5' extensions from 10 ft. Spectra extension

I remember seeing a LONG time ago, a series of step by step instructions with pictures on how to cut a spectra rope and make a loop at the end like the rope companies do, I think it was for if you wanted to tie 2 halves of spectra line together, they recommended this way...but this is the same concept. I searched but couldnt find it. I have a 10 foot SL Viper extension and I want to make it into two 5 ft extensions. How do I do it? Thanks
