i got a supra here in mexico. the fuel filter is dead and i have to replace it. but the problem is that i haven´t found the filter here in mexico.
could i use other filter (car fuel filter) ?.
is there something important about the speed fluid?
or, all the filters are the same, just the capacity of liquid is the diferent?
thank you _________________ wakeboard...the best! |

hope that this will work in your problem. i got this guide on how to replace a fuel filter, first you must disconnect the fuel fuse relay which was located at the plastic compartment on the floor in front of the saturn. next is to run the engine on idle until it stalls. crank the rear end of the saturn by using the car jack. place the drip pan directly beneath the fuel filter. use needle nose pliers to pinch both tabs on the sides of your fuel filter. lower the fuel filter to the ground. Attach the new fuel filter into the bracket, using the fuel lines as guides for where the tabs should be. Clean your work area by removing the drip pan, wiping any spills with the shop towels, and taking your needle-nose pliers and old filter out from under the car. remove the jacks. use the car jack to lower the rear of the car. plug the fuel relay into the fuse box. try to start.
