When your looking for a tower and all the goods that go with them what are you looking for? Cheap is not always best but what are the requirements when your looking? _________________ Wakeskating

I think price is a big issue with the aftermarket accessories, at least for me it is. Also the look, so that things fit the tower and the boat... I don't want a nice tower with cheap looking accessories or vice versa. But back to price, I don't use boardracks much myself so I can't imagine dropping $200-$400 on a set, or even $500 on a lightbar that I'm barely gonna use. I think the stuff is overpriced to begin with - let alone if I'm not getting the use.
The tower itself I think most people look at price first, because even the cheap ones at $1000 are a good chunk of change. I considered some options like Monster, but in the end I decided there was no way I was dropping tens of thousands on a boat and then slapping on what in my opinion looked like an afterthought. I knew if I did that, every time I looked at the boat I would probably second guess myself or wish I'd spent a few hundred dollars extra. So for me price was definitely a concern, but quality and look were a bigger part of the equation. |

So if you don't use board racks, what do you do?
I found with 5 people and 3 or 4 boards in the boat, things get crowded. Board racks help ease the crunch. And for about $200, it is cheaper than getting a bigger boat. |

Looks is #1. It must fit the lines of the boat. I don't know all of Monster's customers, but I'd assume most are I/Os.
Price #2
^^^ This is what I would think is important to people who are dropping some good $$$ on a boat. Not what I'd figure is the backyard, get out on the boat cheap and have my buddy weld some tube and bolt it on my boat kind of rider. _________________
