good editing program?

I like it but would recommend a simpler program like Premier Pro 2.0 for the traditional layout of audio and video tracks. The timeline setup in 7 is can be a bit convoluted.

One thing to consider- It is a resource hog and does not work well with AMD chipsets. You better have a stout P4 or duo core processors with 2GB+ RAM.

I think the most difficult thing is learning how to get a good clean export of the video. The automated settings aren't as impressive as Final Cut Pro or anything of that level.
