Carson Misenheimer, yes it does matter. In wakeboarding you want to build up line tension with out losing it. Thus a non stretch rope is ideal. Spectra ropes are zero stretch, do not get nylon, or poly E. Straightline and Accurate make good, reliable spectra ropes.

| LFPIMP is right you def. want a nonstretch rope. Ropes with stretch can mess up your timing and other things becuz when u let off edge they stretch back which in turn could move you while you are in the air and that would suck. |
