Any suggestions? I've been thinking of a TS frontroll or crow. I can get 19/20 HS tantrums and I think it's time to get more inverts in the bag.

After trying some TS frontrolls? (not the cartwheel kind - just not sure about the name) I've realized I just stop mid rotation and land on my ass every time. Any pointers?

*Edit- Never mind the TS Front

TS BR has to be the easiest one by far. Got that one yet? Easy to grab too, so you can add 2 tricks pretty quickly. Same body motion as tantrums.

my first ts invert was a ts backroll to revert. sounds bad, but this way you can just hold onto the handle through the entire trick and it will pull right around to fakie.

TS front you have to almost try and overroate cause you're landing on your toes anyway. TS Backroll the rotation will probably be pretty natural for you, but that's assuming you have good TS pop with your progressive edge. Give scarecrows a try too... I find that to be a lot easier rotation than a straight frontroll.

I learned scarecrow, then ts front, then ts r2r, then ts backroll. I am pretty sure i learned both of those backwards, but really landing switch heelside comes much easier for me than plain toeside on inverts. TS backrolls are SO much easier on a big wake than a smaller one. Like if i am riding behind a smaller wake I probably couldn't rotate as easily on my ts backrolls, but my ts front and crow I would be able to do much easier. If I was you, I would give the ts front and crow some attempts. If those aren't working for you try out the ts backroll.

Yeah I actually prefer landing HS switch to any other landing, so a crow is in my best interests. Do you just throw the roll and let go with your lead hand?

QNev, i learned mine a little bit different. i was told to drop my rear shoulder right off the wake and at the same time, throw my head over my left shoulder (assuming that you are left foot forward). i can still hold on to the handle with both hands for this one and it feels a lot more comfortable than throwing a front to fakie. if you have a trampoline, try to the this motion. you will understand what i mean by the drop and throw once you get to work on it.

I was going for the frontroll but kept rotating half-way to crow so I just passed the handle and landed the crow. Then learned the ts backroll after that. I would have never landed it if I didn't have advice with me on the boat. I went out with a friend who could land one and after a couple pointers landed it 3rd try.

You're never gonna know if you don't try.

I think he just meant that he let go with his back hand off the wake and just passed it from front hand to back hand in front of his body.

I just got my first crows behind the boat this weekend. I've been doing them on cable for a while, aven grabbing them, the boat is just so much different. My driver said they look more like rodeo 5's than a frontroll with a 180, which is cool, and They feel like it to, so I'm not sure If I'm doing a 5 or a crow..
