I finally landed a shove-it on Saturday. The first trick I can do on a wakeskate that you can't do on a board. I'm pretty pumped about it. Practicing them on the trampoline helped so much. Just getting comfortable with the rotation, and spotting the landing. I feel really good about it tool, I skipped out on 3 of them before I finally landed one and they were all right there.

Also rode away from my first surface 3 but that's not too spectacular.

With all of the flooding here no one can get their boats on the water unless you have a friend with his in the marina Twisted Evil so we had the entire lake to ourselves on Saturday and it was BUTTA

Next stop, lipslide shov

Landed my second on on Tuesday night. Still took me 3 tries but the one I landed was clean. I'm really pumped on skating now.

I was also working on body varials. I land flat on the board every time but for some reason I kept going over the nose. I felt like my feet were always square on the board though. Should I work on switch ollies before I go for the body varial so I can get my switch landings more consistent?

Or should I just try the switch body varial so the landings would be more stable?

congrats on the shuv-it. =)

i just landed my first one a few days ago. first wakeskate run of the season. and first try. i was planning on wrecking and just calling it quits but i stuck it clean. it feels good don't it? i really wanna progress. im thinking of trying some 360 shuv-its. and if i can manage those, go for the fakie fs bigspin. =)

and on your body varials, i think it'd be better if you went at it fakie to regular. your landing would be less akward. let us know how it works out.
