I really want to buy a wakeskate but I can't afford any of the new, pro models. Are the old ones pretty good or should I just save up more money? |

just buy one of the flat cassettes, or mutiny has some really good boards for around the same price as a flat cassette. But if 100 is to much for ya you may want to try building your own. _________________ "We forget in life that we are not human beings living a spritual experience, but spritual beings living a human experiance."

yeah, well $200 is propbably the max price. That's in Australian dollars, so I would only really be able to afford a $100 skate. |

wax conditions the material... it helps protect the base from scratches and or gouges... (it's not nessary but it will help prolong the life of the base) it also slows the board down a bit on the water so it feels like it wants to stay under your feet... and helps the board have a neutral feel on anykind of slider surface...(neutral meaning it will go with little effort and won't be so fast it will want to come out from under you) ...it can be repaired and or waxed at a snowboard shop if you want, or you can do it yourself with a p-tex repair kit... also we will be selling a special all temp rub in flournated wax compound and repair kit shortly... all boards are shipped with the waxed base... it's just a cool option... and everyone who has slide it, swears by it... _________________ ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
