I am looking for some other exercises to help me get my whirly down. I just cant make myself do one on a tramp. When I try, I end up just going to blind. I tried every which way to make myself do the full rotation, but just cant. I was wondering if anyone had any helpful advice.. _________________ www.blackwaterrydas.com |

| Whats up dude. On the whirly you want to initiate a little harder than normal tantrum. Once you get your trip start looking up and back over your rear shoulder. THEN you want to pull the handle with one hand ACROSS your body. I compare it to almost trying to punch yourself in the chin. The rope tension from this pull should start your rotation and hold on for the ride. |

If you can't do it on the tramp I don't know how you expect to do it on the water. The spin initiation is exactly the same once you're in the air and doing it on the tramp is easier. It took me a while to get it on the tramp but you just have to keep working at it. One thing is to make sure you have enough rope so that the line isn't pulling you out of your spin. Once I lengthened my rope it became much easier. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

| flyhigh, awesome! You actually took my advice and are trying to pick this trick up. I can't do them on the water. My tantrums need more work and there are other things I want to get first. Anyway, Jon hit the nail right on the head pretty much. Instead of jumping straight back, throw your head back at an angle and after you leave the tramp, try to smack yourself in the face with your bicep. When you throw it back and at an angle, make sure you still do a back flip and not some kind of crazy OA ole spin. |

jpminter, ya, it has been something I have been needing to try, I have my tant dialed, and its crazy to not at least try to work on something based off it. Your words of inspiration was all I needed to make myself try it, now I just need to freakin figure it out. Thanks for the help bro..
Jon, Yo Yo, Ill try that, what I am doing right now is after I throw my tant, I am trying to look down the line, then when I throw my arm in front of my face, and intiate the spin, after I start, thats when I do something wrong, I am doing something wrong with arm, after reading the too short line comment up there, that makes sence, maybe it is pulling me out of my spin.. hopefully.. but for some reason I am landing blind. I may just be retarded...thats a good possibilitiy _________________ www.blackwaterrydas.com |

| OuachitaWaker, yeah but it would be ole and he would be landing crossed up. A whirly would prob be easier. |

| Hey i haventy yet done a whirly yet but i am also working on it. I actually learned it off the diving board into my pool and then i took it to the tramp. The next step is to get behind the boat and try it. |
