50 watts of RMS would be good according to the specs, the more clean power you can get to them the better.

Different amps will have different outputs obviously, but a 2 channel would work so long as it is at least 50RMS per channel.

heres a quickie. say you have a 500 watt 2 channel amp.. the 250 watts per channel. and RMS is half of that. so you have 125 watts RMS per channel. so just make sure that your speakers can handle the RMS output of your amp. like if your speakers are 200watt max that means they are 100rms..... just make sure your stuff aint gonna blow up

snobo4rder08, you could start by posting what your budget is. I personally like the Polk DB series which can be picked up for around $70 I believe.

What are you looking for in a tower system? Are you actually wanting to hear music while riding? Or just mostly for interior sound/looks?

I don't think there's anything wrong with the speakers that you've picked out, crappy amp= crappy sound. Period. If you're not getting them the clean power they need then even the nicest speakers will sound like crap.

Well unless you find a really good deal on ebay or something that budget isn't going to work to good. I totaly agree with DRAGON88 about the Polk db series. And there isn't anything wrong with the speakers you picked out. And like he said crappy amp=crappy sound, and DUAL amps are crappy.

Sorry man, that isn't going to happen for $150. I think you will be disappointed if thats what you're expecting from this setup.

Do you need the speaker can things too, to go on your tower? If so you will never get what you want with that budget.

down here in houston best buy has the MOST expensive speakers, them and cartoys are way over priced. id stick to buying from ebay, or if you have one a flea market. youll get the best prices off those two. unless your insanley rich and money dont matter then go ahead and buy them somewhere els.

you wont find any good combos until you can spend like 250-400$. I would try and find a used 300 watt amp or so, and then get polk's or try to find some mb quart speakers.

Yup you get what you pay for, I have four Polk db 651's on my tower, two of them running off the cd player, and the other two off a 300 watt JL Audio amp. But like he said your going have have to spend anywhere from $250 and up. But just remeber you get what you pay for.
