I am going to build a tower and I need to find the threaded adapters that weld into the pipe.I have found tons of them for smaller pipes but nothing for 2 inch

Alot of towers have a reducer in this spot.

I used a reducer too, picture from my earlier posting. Without the reducer it looked very rough.

where did you find the reducers at? I can only find the ones for threaded pipe and they look like crap. Also did you use another insert in there or did you just thread the insied to the size of youre heim?

I welded a piece of shaft inside the reducer. In the shaft I had threaded the size of my heim (M20 Fine-thread). I bought the reducer at my hardware supplier who also supplied the gaspipe, they normaly have fittings which are threaded (malleable fittings) or can be welded (weld fittings). I found a supplier on the net for you. My supllier would be a little to far away. Here's a link.
