| So i got a heelside backroll and i want the toeside one to match it but when i tried a few of them i only get half way around which hurts...a lot...I'm guessing i'm hucking it and throwing it too early cuz i am keeping two hands on the handle until i realize i'm screwed that is...the guys i ride with say also don't get enough height on them...any helps to make it easier to learn??? |

| Is HS backroll your only invert? I would suggest tantrum or scarecrow as a second invert. And if you really want another invert to "match" your backroll then go for a switch backroll or something. IMO, TS backroll is a fairly difficult base invert. |

I learned the TS backroll as my first invert. I landed the TS backroll w2w before i could jump w2w consistently. The thing people do wrong most of the time is they don't wait. If you're not getting enough height than you're throwing it to early off the wake. Take your normal TS cut into the wake like you're going to jump. Than stare to throw the backroll at the top of the wake when you get the pop and are about to leave. If you're throwing it early than you're going to try and spin the flip faster than you really need to which is going to make landings a lot harder. _________________ Always looking for a pull in Florida... |

| I started working on these the other day with a really good rider. You have to pull all the way through the wake. The first couple I thought I was and didn't quite get all the way around. So I kept pulling harder and harder at the wake. I'm getting around on them no problem now which take away the pain (first one knocked the wind out of me). Still struggling on the landing though. |
