Where is the dang impeller located on a mercruiser 350 mag engine? The Moomba I had years ago was easy to change, the impeller was right on the front of the Indmar.

Do I need to take the water pump off to get to it??

Any help appreciated...

Thanks!
Keith

It's been a while since I've worked on a mercruiser but I think you have to disassemble the pump to get the impellar out. I know my old PCM was like that also.

tball, Thanks for the link!! That procedure is very well done -- good detail & clear pictures. I wish shop manuals were that good.
