Story Time.

So, i ask my paps "Yo can you take me wakeboarding"
he responds "Yeah sure, but i think its gonna rain"...

So, what evs, i get my shiz, put on all my gear, take my line out.... as soon as i get all of my stuff outside... she rains... not heavy, but a light film of rain... soo we wait for it to clear, 5 mins later, clouds break, sky shines like a new heaven.... BUT i forget my soap inside (so i can put my bindings on)

i come out, and ZAM! rains again.. but even harder...
Being the caring person my father is.. he boosts my confidence with a little "No worries, i bet it'll clear up in 10 minutes"

10 minutes later.... and im in a f**king shed with "ol" paps waiting for mother nature to cool her jets.

1 HOUR LATER!!!!, and me and my confidence is all i got going for me.. and oh yeah, i got a wet dog with me becuase she's scared of the rain...

So lets toll of what i got going for me

. Im wet, not becuase of wakeboarding
. Paps confidence booster goes to shiz
. Mother nature has screwed me twice in the same day
. And i got all my gear on, and wakeboard shiz out, sitting in the god for saken rain.
. Oh Yah, and a smelly wet dog.

30 mins, and a couple of nervous break downs later, its all gone to shiz, i head inside, wakeboarding is done for today.

No.. haha

It was cloudy all day, and nothing happened, i knew there was a chance of shower, but since nothing had happened all day, until 7 pm, i thought i was alright.

Why didn't you just ride in the rain? Why did you bother telling this story? Sorry you didn't get to ride, but don't be so harsh on yourself with your failing confidence boosting from the paps lol

My story:

Yesterday, I hooked up my boat and headed to the ramp. I met my buddy there and we saw the clouds were rolling in and the wind was picking up. We could see the rain on the horizon. We looked at each other and said (in our best Scottish accents) "Well, we didn't get dressed up for nothin' " and off we went.

By the time we got to our riding spot, the clouds had broken, the sun was out, and the wind had even died down some. Sometimes, you just gotta say "WTF". Laughing
