Liquid force synergy or substance?

I'm getting rid of my 2001 LF Helix 139. I've always found it loose on landing and turning. I'm looking at LF Substance 138 and the LF Synergy 141. I'm 5-10, 195lbs. I'd consider myself an intermediate rider looking to improve. Recommendations on these two boards, or would you point me in a different direction all together? Thanks!
