The X2 is tight, I dont know that they are all TOO expensive, boats in general cost money, with MC your getting heavy duty vynel and carpet, monocaulk stringers, hand laid fibre glass, built in board racks, epoxy based gel coats, and some other amenities which makes the boat sweet now, and sweet 10 years down the road.

Why would you want a boat for 10 years. They keep getting sweeter and you'll want a new one. MC's are a little overpriced, even though I have one. But 40K for a used x-7. Come on.

I would go with an X-7, they are great boats, my friend has one with a lot more weight in it and it throws up a wake that is just as good as most vdrives. Also, you can ski behind it. I love my X-star, but you cant beat the vercitility of the X-7

Sorry, BrtnDan, but we don't ski here. X-7's are just as good as any prostar with weight. Go for the V-Drive for the same price. X-2's are quite nice.

I have a x30 and wouldn't trade it for any other. Tons of room, great attention to detail, lots of storage and everyone that has gotten a pull says its the best wake they have ever hit.

I guess it depends on what you want the boat to do and what you will use it for. If you're looking for a cross-over boat, look closely at the X-9, if you're looking for a strictly boarding boat, look at the X-2.....They are all extremely nice. After spending a weekend in an '02 X-star, I gotta say that it's one of the most solid wakeboard boats I've been in/ridden behind...just my .02.

The X-Star's and X-30's are the way to go if you have the cash.
