I am at work now but before the sun rose I got up fed the twins kissed the wife and was on the dock as the sun came up.
One of our crew had to bail his wife was on call, so I 2wayed the one guy in our crew who doesn't get up before 11. (HINT his name rhymes with Dockalli) And low and behold the gods were with us he is awake and willing to stumble down to the end of the dock.
Water was pristene 78 the air 70, perfect just the glass I love.
Filled the tanks and we are off my boy Greg rides first he has a good warm up. I ride next did some carving some butter slides tryed some soul turns, ollied well, jumped cautiously, felt good. Took a heelside cut and BAMMMMMMMMMMMM nothing just a butter smooth landing. See I have been taking it easy for almost two years now since I tore my miniscus. Brocolli was up next took a while for him to feel good then BAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM big lofty airs, nice landings.
I just feel after today this is what wakeboarding is to me early mornings, hanging with good friends and just being comfortable on the water, I think this year is going to be great.
JUST SHARING THE STOAK
Thanks to Brocolli for dragging his asssssssssssss out of bed.
Made us legal.

Damn I miss living w/ someone who owns a boat.
We used to get up at 6:30, fire up a pot of coffee, grab the boards and drive all of 1/8 of a mile to the marina to fire up the boat. Sun's just coming up, only other people on the lake are a couple of fisherman on the edges, nothing but glass w/ steam coming up and a couple of fish jumping to break up the butter.
Getting 2 nice pulls before going to work just makes your whole day a hell of a lot better! |

I used to do that with skiing. Now I stay out later with the neighbors and dont wake up until 11:00, but if I'm having a huge itch to go boarding, I'll get up at 7 or 8 _________________ 04 LF Trip 133

Man, thats awsome. I would totally do that, as me and some friends go to a guys lake house a good bit in the summer, just the 3 of us, and the water is always crap.
I can never get them to get up early. It sucks. Oh well, any water is better than no water. |
