Its a super easy rotation as long as you have good edge control and a strong release. Just take a good edge through the wake, and think about launching off with your board at the same angle as the wake. Stand tall to get a good release, if you lift off at a good angle the flip just happens. Keep the handle tight to your hips, if you keep your hand position in one place thats one less thing you have to worry about. Look over your lead shoulder as early as you can, spot your landing, and just let the rotation bring you around. You should be able to stick it after 5-10 attempts if you have a good edge and release.

Here is my 20-second effort in MSPaint to show the takeoff...

Its a real easy trick off the double up because you get such a good kick off the steep wake, thats how I got some good early attempts. Its a great trick b/c its so easy to stick consistently, and also it can condition you for huge off axis fs spins.

Again just think about taking it straight up, and look for your landing as soon as you take off because your body will follow your head.

Make sure you do not let go too early with your back hand, if at all, cause this will kill your rotaiona dn make you do a face plant. Just remember to keep the rope in tight.
