Snoring Roomates

Have any of you ever had a roomate in college or currently have one who snores outrageously loud? Last night I got the worst night of sleep since I've been here. It seems that since my x-mas break that my roomate turns into a bear at night. I can hear him coming down the hall at times. Now with having 8am classes everyday and staying up as late as I do studying, It's almost impossible to get decent amounts of sleep. Anyone ever had this problem? What'd you do? I'm just curious because im starting to notice it become increasingly louder and more common for him to do this.

get him some breath right strips or rub some vicks on his chest when he a sleep. oh wait, that would be pretty gay. not saying your gay or doing it would be gay. never mind

OH How I feel for you! Man, I was in the same boat in college. My roommate came from Delaware and was skinny and played on the soccer team. By Christmas break he had gained about 25 lbs. and slept til noon everyday. I had to buy one of those eye masks and I used earplugs. I also had to take Melatonin regularly to just knock me out.

Start looking for a single for next semester or get an apartment.

I guess it is all part of the college right of passage! Rolling Eyes

The #1 thing in this world I cannot deal with Snoring. My rottie doesn't even snore thank God!.

Earplugs are the key! I swear by them. 50 cents is all takes for happiness.

Ok, Be glad that he only snores. I have a roomate who has had her boyfriend over for no joke 2 months straight... thats right everynight. Which wouldnt be a problem, but we SHARE A ROOM!!!!!! I have said something to her twice, but the inconsidereate little brat ceasedto stop have him over, until I got out landlord involved. Now she wants to move out thanks GOD! I don't understand some people sometimes, she tried to justify it like it was ok. Sorry guys, had to get that out!

my best friend snores and i hate it!!!!!! i had a huge sleepover with like 10 of my best friends a couple weeks ago and all of us were up laughing at her while she was fast asleep and snorin her lil brains out... haha

Last year my roomate always had his best friend over. The dude slept on our couch like every night. It was out of hand. Then last semester my roomate wwas always taking my things like they were his. I finally got a 2 bedroom apt with someone who pays his share. Having your own room is the key.

Just be glad that your roommate and her boyfriend don't keep you up at night with banging headboards and moaning.......that can be pretty irritating too!

I use to have a neighbor snore so loud that I could hear it through the walls.
So now the lastest is knowing the timetable when my neighbors are having sex it's a pretty good way to know what time since they're consistant .....walls in this place are worse than paper. I'm surrounded by sex crazed people. I guess since I'm not getting everyone else might as well. Crying or Very sad

Bethany- You should of done what she did. Have a boy over every night and see if she liked that. But then again they probable would of watched.

my older bro's roomate used to snore alot so my bro got those snap 'n pops and threw them at him when he woke up. there were the lil burn marks all over the wall by his bed...the guy eventually moved out. i guess he got the picture
