| I took my boat out today, as I was cruising across the lake it cut out and my rpm's dropped to 0 for a second and then it picked back up. Later I anchored off and sat a while, when I went to leave the boat wouldn't start. My boat turns over fine it acts like it is not getting any fuel. I noticed when I turn my key on, my fuel guage is'nt working. I know I have about 1/2 tank in it. Any help would be appreciated. |

Sounds like it could be your safety lanyard not making a solid connection. You can push down on that and see if it turns over. Realistically it could be many things, although the safety lanyard is quite common. _________________ wakeboards

Did you just get it dewinterized or back from the shop? Last year my buddy got his boat back from getting some work done and it had the same symptoms you described. It ran for a while, then would turn over but not fire. Turns out the mechanics forgot to reconnect a fuel line... _________________ Whoever coined the term "Near Beer" was a very poor judge of distance... |
