Please don't take it wrong, I am just noticing that the forums have been reallllly slow for the last few months. I thought it would pick up in the riding season but it doesnt seem to be as of yet (although it is early).

No hate in this post, I love the site and I was just wondering if there was something I am missing?

Check the non-wakeboarding forum. Thats where all the old vets go now because theyre tired of the noobies posting the same thing in this forum over and over. (ex. What size Ronix one should I buy?)

mjmurphy53711, the forums actually get slower in the summer because the uhh.... weather is actually nice and we can go outside. Laughing

And yes, a lot of people are sick of answering "should I buy the Ronix1?!"

We have a spike in traffic during the summer months but more of it is visitors reading about products and other stuff on the site. Most of the traffic increase over the summer is from people trying to learn about wakeboarding. Those that get hooked on it will start to post when they are not scared of getting blasted about a newbie question.. Smile

We are getting more and more people register but activation takes a followup email to tell me that they are a real life person. The robots are just killing me with SPAM accounts.

We however sold our Supra....so we have no ride...we are boatless in Austin....so I am looking at the forums day and night..

I..yeh ive basically gotten out of this forum, moved to slider/trick tips/none wake (mary jane thread Mr. Green

) i just come here when i want a question answered..i still read it though. Obviously, im still posting in here when i feel the need.

And i agree on the Ronix thing..i love my cells and im getting a One board in a couple days at the masters so i cant say anything about it but all the ?'s about ronix have gotten really old/repetitive. I say, when people join the site, they should have to go through a lesson on how to use the search button.. Rolling Eyes

Then there's us tweeners, not newbs but are trying to figure it all out and not get killed in the process. I'm sure it will pick up after this weekend. For most mem. day weekend is kinda the official star of the season. I have been out in the boat once, but havn't taken the short walk off hte back of the boat yet. I'll be glad to finally get to tryout a non-stretch line and see if some of my problems are as easy as getting better equipment. Having air temps in the high 80's for most of the end of this week will make things better.
