|
|
| Just got my monster tower installed from a shop and I went to fold it down, and it was kind of a pain cause I don't have the appropriate allen wrench. Anyways, when I put it back up it was impossible to get it straight and now its all crooked looking. Does anyone have any advice and If its not straight when i use it is there going to be problems? Thanks |

| I had a monster tower on my old boat and I never had this problem. However, it sounds like you may need to adjust the bolts on the top of the tower. Call Monster. They are great and can give you some advice. |

Maybe it wasn't installed properly. You should just have to turn 2 dials at the front of the tower and then it will fold back. Call them, best customer service going. _________________ 2010 Watson Hybrid

Yeah, something isn't right there. If the tower was installed correctly, it will allign itself automatically once you re-raise it and reinstall the quick release knobs at the front. Since it pivots at several points, you may just need to put a little muscle into it to get it straightened out.
As already stated, if all else fails call Monster Tower. They'll get you straightened out for sure. |

hmmmm
sounds like the shop failed to drill the tower and install the locking pins (4ea) after the tower was installed and aligned
The tower also came with all the wrenches you need, sounds like you need to have a word with your install shop |

Wow, I called before you posted and they said they didn't get any allen wrenches. That really burns me even more if they didn't bother installing those pins your talking about. I'm printing the manual off and bitching at them tomorrow. |

Update:
Yeah the shop didn't do the anchor sleeves. They were persistent in saying that they never recieved them or any allen wrenches. I called monster and they are shipping the parts and the shop is finishing the job. Hope everything goes well. Thanks guys. |
