| Because they are individually hand-sculpted by Parks Bonifay. |

Okay... I work in the Electronics Dept.
They are expensive because
1. They are NEW
2. They are LIGHTER
3. They are RONIX (affiliated with top riders)
happy? |

Hmmm,
LFs top-end boots = $400.
Hyperlite's top-end boots = $360.
CWB's top-end boots = $350.
From what I've heard, Ronix boots are far and away the lightest and most comfortable out there, so I see no problem with a price tag of $400. |

| The Ronix boots are insanely comfortable. Definately worth the money. My friend who rides a team with open toe Watson bindings picked up my Shane with the "cells" yesterday to put it in the rack and just stopped because he couldn't believe how light that set-up was. They are extremely light, very comfortable and hold your feet in great. Only issue I've had with my cells is ever since I came out of them the liner comes out really easy. Even when just removing my feet from the swim platform. |

| Maestro, wow, I just realized how much the times have changed! HL used to be the most expensive out there. IIRC (definetly could be mistaken) some bindings such as the Parks used to be 400+ and LF used to be the cheapo with CWB. Now its reversed! Very odd |

Epic, i have cells and actually tried to get the liner out once and failed. theyve never came out.
ronix boots are worth tag for sure. hype boots arent worth 360 (in my opinion). id MUCH rather throw down an extra 40 for some ronix straps.
CWB boots were just not for me at all. i had some 06 zues's and they were horrible on my feet. (also keep in mind i have odd feet and its hard for me to find good bindings that fit me right) which is why the large framed, heat moldable ronix straps are so good for me. _________________ When it rains, it pours. |

| When I went to O-dub, one of the guys who worked there couldn't stop raving about how comfortable his new Ronix Scouts were. I never seem to hear much about those boots around here, its always the One or the Cell. I'm just curious why that is. |

RC, CWB Zeus 07 is worlds different than the 06. You would probably not have the same issues - in fact I can just about guarantee you they would fit you as well as anything else on the market.
I'm glad you have found something that works. Those of us with odd or wide feet have been screwed when it comes to binders until very recently. _________________

I may be wrong so dont hold me to this but..
i think the scouts are kinda medium on everything..like theyre not flexible but theyre not stiff either. and they have jbars built in. i dont like the jbars, i just like 'em molded. _________________ When it rains, it pours. |

dude..you have no clue how true that is for me. i have the feet of Fred Flintstone. It's ridiculous. the zues's just responded alot differently than any other boot i have ever ridden. i sure your right about the 07's but im just gonna stick with cells since i know they work for me. _________________ When it rains, it pours. |

RC, One of my regular riding buds has the exact same problem. I've posted on here before about my buddy with the "Shrek feet".
A couple of weeks ago he got a new setup. Its an '06 PS3 141 with a set of Sphynx XXL Magnums. He is in heaven. I've watched him suffer through everything from velcro straps to loaner bindings that just didn't quite fit his gigantic feet.
He says the LF bindings are extremely comfortable.
And it truly is a moment of joy watching a 250 lb man sail all the way across the wake and come down soft as a feather on the other side. |

Amen to that.
I have wide and thick feet. I used to be relegated to L and XL bindings even though the specs called for a M. So, until very recently I always had to compromise and go with loose/big binders. It's a whole different ballgame when the equipment fits properly! _________________

chavez, i had to go bigger too just to get em in...then they shifted the whole ride. now its fine.
the thing is im not even that big. im 5'10" 165-170lbs. but my feet are about a foot wide themselves. the doc told me it was cause i wear flip flops so much and theres nothing there to constrict my feet. i seriously dont own a pair of shoes. ive been in flip flops everywhere i go for the past 3 years. _________________ When it rains, it pours. |

I've only come completely out of them once. I've probably ridden 12-13 sessions this year with them. I've partially come out of one a couple of times but yesterday was the first time I've come completely out. Now the liners only stay in because of the velcro. So now when I take my foot out I have to hold the liner in place or it comes out with my foot.
I also have a very wide foot and never could find a binding that didn't cramp my foot after about 10 minutes until I tried on the cells. My foot has never felt better.
I never tried the 06 Zues's but did try the 07's on at the boat show and they were pretty dang comfy as well and didn't bother my wide feet at all. Just not crazy about the look of them. |
